Every project is a collaboration, and it’s the heart of what we do. Here’s how we work together to create your custom hardwood furniture:
1. Initial Consultation: Understanding Your Vision
A client may reach out to us with an idea in mind—whether it’s a specific piece they need or a project they’ve envisioned. During our first conversation, we’ll discuss the dimensions, functionality, choice of wood, and style preferences to ensure we’re aligned with your needs. We’ll also talk through your budget to ensure we can work within your desired price range.
2. Design & Customization
Once we have all the details, we’ll work with you to fine-tune the design. Whether you prefer a rustic, modern, or eclectic style, we’ll ensure your piece is crafted to fit your space and aesthetic. We’ll also discuss any additional features, such as storage, finishes, or custom details that will make the piece uniquely yours.
3. Shipping & Delivery Estimates
For larger projects, we’ll also discuss shipping and delivery. After we’ve finalized the design, we’ll get a shipping estimate based on your location and the size of the item. We’ll forward the shipping estimate to you so you can factor it into your final decision. We always aim for a smooth, timely delivery.
4. Confirmation & Down Payment
When all the details are confirmed, and you’re excited about moving forward, I’ll ask for a down payment to reserve time for your project and begin acquiring the materials needed. This helps us secure the best quality materials and set aside dedicated time to work on your piece. I typically have a 3-5 week lead time, so please keep this in mind when planning your project.
