Hello and welcome—my name is Jeremy, and I’m the craftsman behind J & G Custom Woodworks.

My journey with woodworking began at a young age in my grandfather’s basement workshop, where the smell of sawdust and the sound of hand tools were part of everyday life. As his helper, I learned early on the value of patience, precision, and pride in creating something with your own hands. Those moments planted the seed for a lifelong passion for craftsmanship—one that would shape my path in ways I couldn’t have imagined at the time.

As I grew older, that foundation led me into the construction industry, where I spent over 20 years honing my skills. I worked on everything from framing homes and building additions to digging foundations, cutting rafters, installing hardwood floors, and trimming out finished spaces. Those years gave me a deep understanding of structure, durability, and what it takes to build things the right way.

Along the way, I began creating furniture and décor for myself, friends, and family in between construction jobs. It was during this time that everything came full circle. I found myself drawn back to the kind of work I loved most—the smaller, more thoughtful pieces that require care, intention, and attention to detail. I was reminded of those early days in my grandfather’s shop and realized that true craftsmanship lives in the details.

With that clarity, I decided to focus fully on custom furniture and fine woodworking. J & G Custom Woodworks was born from decades of experience, hard work, and a deep respect for quality materials and timeless design.

My mission is simple: to create well-built, meaningful pieces that are both functional and full of character. Whether it’s a custom dining table, a statement piece for your home, or a one-of-a-kind décor item, every project receives the same care and passion that started in my grandfather’s workshop years ago.
