Hello and welcome! My name is Jeremy, and I am the craftsman behind J & G Custom Woodworks.

From a young age, wood and sawdust became a part of my life in my grandfather's basement workshop. I was his helper, learning the value of craftsmanship and the joy of creating something with your hands. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for woodworking, one that would shape my career in ways I never expected.

As I grew older, I worked in the construction industry, framing homes, adding additions, and completing everything from digging foundations to cutting rafters, installing hardwood flooring, and trimming homes. Over 20+ years in the industry, I gained a deep understanding of the fundamentals of building and craftsmanship.

However, it wasn’t until I started building furniture and decor for myself and friends in between my construction work that I truly came full circle. I remembered the days spent in my grandfather’s shop, and I realized that the true joy of woodworking wasn’t just in the large projects, but in the small, thoughtful pieces crafted with care.

With this newfound focus on custom furniture, I decided to take the plunge and share my skills with others. J & G Custom Woodworks was born from years of experience, hard work, and a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship.

My mission is simple: to deliver the same quality of work that I feel everyone deserves—pieces that are not only functional but also full of character and soul. Whether it’s a custom dining table, a piece of furniture to complete your home, or a unique decor item, I aim to bring the same passion and attention to detail that started in my grandfather's workshop.
